Building Collapses At Ogun State, Kills One Student And Injures Two.

A classroom at Nazareth High School in the Imeko-Afon area of Ogun state collapsed, killing a student.

Two other students were injured in the collapse of the building.

Imeko Ward’s councillor, Samuel Ojoawo, confirmed the incident.

It turned out that the building suddenly collapsed on the three students, killing one of them, Ilebiyi, on the spot and injuring two others.

The injured students were taken to hospital for treatment, and the deceased, has been buried according to Islamic rituals.

According to the city council, one of the two people who survived the crash was lightly injured while the other is undergoing inpatient treatment.

He said, “The incident is highly disheartening and pathetic. Three girls were involved in the incident, one dead and two injured.”

“One of the injured two victims sustained very minor injuries. The other one was taken to the hospital. I went there and she’s responding to treatment. She is better now.”

The city council stated that the current council administration ordered the complete demolition of the building.

When asked, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state press secretary, admitted that he had not been notified.
